The Story of
NOVA SWEETS

After having my son in December of 2022, I became a stay-at-home mom, and spent my days watching cake decorating videos on TikTok and having fun in the kitchen with my 6-year-old. That is when I found my love for baking! I saw the joy I got out of baking and loved seeing my creations come to life. I begged my sister to let me make my nephew's cake for his 5th birthday and surprisingly, she did! The pressure was on! After successfully making his Paw Patrol cake (that everyone loved by the way), I discovered my natural talent and love for baking, and at that moment, NOVA Sweets was born.

   The name "NOVA" comes from my 2 beautiful children, Nolan and Ava. I find baking and cake decorating to be relaxing and calming. As someone who suffers with anxiety, baking brings me a sense of peace. I am driven by the excitement on my friends and families faces when they eat what I create and wouldn’t be where I am today without their support.
